Kimberly is committed to the constitutional RULE OF LAW.

And the protection of individual liberties. She stands firm on the principle that judges should be objective and interpret the laws of our state and county as written. As District Court Judge, Kimberly will ensure equality and justice under the law for every person in Madison County, whether they are White or Black, rich or poor, first generation or fifth generation.

Kimberly has DEEP ROOTS IN ALABAMA that have shaped who she is as a person.

Her grandparents and parents grew up in the segregated South and instilled in her faith, the value of hard work, and a commitment to stand for right, even when it is not popular. Kimberly knows intimately the struggle for equal protection and justice under the law and shares in Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s optimistic vision that while “the arc of the moral universe is long” it does “bend toward justice.”

Kimberly believes in equal protection and JUSTICE FOR EVERYONE.

Kimberly attended Alabama State University, graduating with honors with a degree in accounting. In 2005, she enrolled at the University of Alabama School of Law as a Johnston Barton Scholar. After graduating law school, Kimberly moved to Huntsville and joined the law firm of Wilmer & Lee, P.A. She has chosen to run for District Court Judge because she believes we need proven and principled judges who will be impartial in their decisions and ensure equal protection and justice under the law for everyone in Madison County.
